EMPLOYMENT
ACA is seeking a Verification Associate to assist with all aspects of the verification process. This primarily entails consulting with investment managers and analyzing clients’ performance presentations, along with the processes and procedures in place at the firm relating to the construction of accurate presentations. Verification procedures require working closely with the investment management firm and with large amounts of investment performance and portfolio accounting data. Along with data analysis, the applicant will be responsible for maintaining essentially all aspects of relationship management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or at least heavy coursework in these areas.
- A previous internship or work experience in finance is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.
- Travel – 4 to 6 nights per month to large cities.
- Strong work ethic.
- Desire to innovate.
- Desire to rapidly enhance career path.
- Interest in attaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and/or Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).
